As our holy prophet said:

Anyone who helps to educate a patient will be helped by god and He will also order angles to help him in resurrection.

The new knowledge of our world have proved evidently and experimentally that if the patients are mentally healthy and powerful, will enjoy higher self-confidence and self-respect and this will lead to realization of his physical health recovery. And if he suffers from an ill mind and spirit, his body will harder and slower respond to treatments. What helps the creation of a healthy morale more than a sincere and erotic relation with almighty God. For this reason in Islam there has been a great emphasis on praying and mentioning God, especially when being ill, and since the patient is weak and unable, religious great ones recommended the nearest persons to the patient to help him with affairs like haj, prayer etc. since close relationship with almighty God relaxes the soul and decreases mental disturbances, depression and disappointment and prepares the patient for the acceptance of treatments. The significance of this point is revealed more in incurable diseases and prayers that is in fact an erotic and direct relation of human with almighty God, creates the required spiritual and mental preparation for accepting the treatments and trying to continue a healthy life and saves the person from the feeling of being at the end of life and from depression. As pointed out in "holy Quran": "Only mentioning God calms the heart".

If religious services especially prayer, Quran reciting etc, are taken into consideration in treatment centers especially hospitals, and the fields and preliminaries of their performance are provided, patients are certainly contributed in their spirits and this leads nor only to mental evacuation but also to an increase in desire for health. So the treatment cadre especially the distinguished nurses should always care and provide circumstances for the performance of religious services in treatment centers.
