Various sections of the Interdisciplinary Pain Center
Outpatient clinics:
In this unit, a complete specialized pain questionnaire is filled out by the patient together with a specialized nurse. The patients are thoroughly examined by a physician following initial documentation.
Day care wards (Day-Clinic):
When a patient requires more diagnostic processes and medical interventions, we have to hospitalize him or her in the day care ward. Some of the services provided by clinic in this ward include: detailed assessments of disease, visits by different specialists, nerve blocks used in treatment of patients with local pain; and evaluating the efficacy of our efforts to control pain.
Pain disease-Inpatient unit:
This ward focuses on providing patients with critical pain care, advanced diagnostic and therapeutic measures, surgeries, and under observation care.
Inter-disciplinary pain commission
In complicated patients, pain teams have to organize meetings with the patient present.
In these meetings, inter-disciplinary pain team evaluates patient’s medical documentations and the results. The professional specialty team involves members to find the cause of disease and make a proper decision.
CT scanning, Diagnostic radiology, MRI, Nuclear medicine, ICU, Bone densitometry, Rehabilitation, Acupuncture, and Thermography are available for the patients if needed.
