"Pain in Spinal Cord Injury" Panel will be held in the First National Festival of Advocacy and Prevention of Spinal Cord Injuries and the 4^th National Congress on Spinal Injuries, 13-15 February 2013 at Razi Conference Hall, Tehran.

In this panel following issues will be discussed.

Professor Mohsen Mohadjer- Introduction- Pain as a sign of spinal cord injury or as an independent disease beside it.

Dr. Tavakoli, Dr. Vakili- Double trauma and its consequences (the event leading to the spinal cord injury and discovering the signs causing another trauma).

Dr. Miri- Which conditions will cause pain in view of neurosurgery?

Dr. Arab Kheradmand- The actual necessary neurosurgical interventions for treatment of pain without causing new pain or aggravating the existing pain. 

Dr. Emami- Aggressive interventional or medical options for treatment of pain.

Dr. Holisaz- Importance of early rehabilitation measures in spinal cord injury patients.

Dr. Khodashenas Firoozabadi- Role of interdisciplinary pain treatment in chronic pain after spinal cord injury.
